Can you still feel the excitement generated by our 17th Happy Birthday celebration of the pantry!!! The next time of such an occurrence where April 25th falls on a Saturday is 2037! Many thanks to our volunteers, who were part of the original team. Most of the team joined us to celebrate on Saturday, Carol, Barbara, Lois, Pat, Mary, Martha, Rob and Jo. Their impact on the community from the first Saturday distributing to five families to a pantry filled with volunteers distributing food to 130 neighbors last week is incredible. Our community through their generosity of volunteer hours, writing grants, and making donations are vital to our success. Your time and resources are the heart of our success. Thank You!
On May 13th, we will celebrate Rogation Day and honor our Food Pantry Volunteers. Rogation Day is a day to ask God's blessing of our crops, the harvest, the fruits of our labors, and for the needs of all. Following our blessing in the garden, dinner will be provided in the parish hall at the church. Please sign up at your local churches or on the signup sheets at the pantry.

Saturday, we welcomed 130 families representing 505 individuals. There were 10 new families' representing 35 family members. Thank you, volunteers and our Spanish and Ukraine interpreters for your assistance with shopping.
On behalf of our Pantry Board, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous food and monetary donations to our pantry. Your donations will make a significant impact on the lives of those in our community who are struggling with food insecurity.
