Supporting Youth Ministries
Youth Towel Ministry at Calvary Episcopal Church, Summer of 2026
Serving Together…
Jesus taught us to serve by washing feet and rolling up our sleeves—and that’s exactly what the WNC Diocesan Youth Towel Ministry is all about. Here at Calvary, we are thrilled to be the host of this vital regional ministry, bringing together youth from churches across Western North Carolina for impactful service projects, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We love opening our doors to support young disciples as they serve our broader community!
Rooted in Jesus’s call to servant leadership (John 13:1–17), the Towel Ministry offers youth (rising 8th grade through graduating seniors) a chance to be the "hands and feet of God" across Western North Carolina. During a 5-day session in the summer, youth complete home repairs, build accessibility ramps, and handle yard maintenance for elderly, disabled, and marginalized neighbors—pairing practical help with genuine relationship building.
