Timing is everything!!! What a perfect week for MANNA to hold the Manna Souper Bowl Day of Caring. The event was staged at our Ingles across the street from our pantry.  On Thursday afternoon, volunteers from the pantry supported the effort by attending the event and Martha shared information about our pantry. What a successful Manna campaign to assist with food insecurity in our community.

Saturday was very busy after being closed from the week before due to inclement weather. Appreciate the 40+ volunteers who weathered the extremely cold and windy morning to assist with the distribution of food to 142 families.

Saturday, we welcomed 142 families representing 515 individuals. There were 13 new families representing 39 family members. We continue to need volunteers who can help with Spanish registrations. Once a month would be very helpful!

On behalf of our Pantry Board, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous food and monetary donations to our pantry. Your donations will make a significant impact on the lives of those in our community who are struggling with food insecurity.
