Working together benefits all as exhibited in the picture above. Sarah has a friend, Cathy, who spends much of her day knitting and for two weeks Sarah has delivered hand knitted toboggans to Connie to bring for our neighbors. Carol delivers shawls and prayer squares from Nativity and Cathy adds crocheted and knitted hats, shawls and fingerless mitts from Calvary Church. Matt, from Mosaic Cafe, delivered a box of bread this week. A group of Calvary parishioners built the Pavilion located in The Lords Acre, our garden. St. Luke Gleaners have contributed much produced "gleaned" from area farms. Twenty Christ School students spent time volunteering on their Day of Carving, (service projects) at the Pantry. Thank You!

Mosaic Cafe donated a case of bread. The Mills River Publix donated meat, pastries and bread. Flavor First donated five cases of tomatoes. City Bakery and Bimbos donated bread. We collected several bags of donated food items from our community. Thank you for taking the time to drop it off at the pantry.

Saturday, we welcomed 158 Households representing 571 individuals. There were 7 New Households representing 16 individuals. Thank you, volunteers and our Spanish and Ukraine interpreters for your assistance with shopping.   On behalf of our Pantry Board, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous food and monetary donations to our pantry. Your donations will make a significant impact on the lives of those in our community who are struggling with food insecurity.
