January 1, 2026

Looking for a New Year's Resolution?! How about starting with volunteering on January 2, 2026 stocking the shelves from 8:45 to 10:00, or helping distribute food on January 3 between 8:00-11:00! We can promise miles of smiles, snacks and hot beverages, and an opportunity to reach out and help our community.

As 2025 draws to an end, we express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the community at large for the many random acts of kindness and donations. To our volunteers your presence has been our present. Your time commitment each and every week does not go unnoticed. On behalf of our Pantry Board…many, many thanks.

Santa arrived a little early as we were closing out the end of the year. Manual Woodworkers from Hendersonville arrived with enough blankets for all of our families. Poppy Popcorn, a local Asheville Company, donated 50 cases of tasty Christmas Confetti Popcorn.  Sav-Mor and Ingles donated grocery bags of food, all items were offered to our neighbors on Saturday, December 20th.

Saturday, we welcomed 198 families representing 720 individuals. There were 20 new families representing 74 family members. We continue to need volunteers who can help with Spanish registrations. Once a month would be very helpful!

On behalf of our Pantry Board, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous food and monetary donations to our pantry throughout the 2025 year. Your donations have made a significant impact on the lives of those in our community who are struggling with food insecurity.
