Kendall Wernet Fund offers Matching Gift for Calvary Food Pantry Donations Through June 30, 2019

All donations given to the Kendall Wernet Fund at the Community Foundation of WNC between June 7 and June 30 will go toward a new building for Calvary’s Food Pantry. In addition, all donations made during this time period will be MATCHED by the Kendall Wernet Fund up to $5000.00!

About the Fundraiser

We're celebrating and remembering Kendall Wernet (1994-2014) on his birthday by following the Boy Scout slogan "do a good turn daily" together. Last year, with your help, we were able to send over $10,000 to MANNA Foodbank, and we're excited to bring everyone together again in 2019. Now through June 30, all donations contributed to the Kendall Wernet Fund at the Community Foundation of WNC will go towards a new building for Calvary Episcopal Church Food Pantry, Inc. And because we truly believe in the power of good turns, every donation made during this time period will be MATCHED by the Kendall Wernet Fund.
