Out of the
public eye, a dedicated core of volunteers helps the staff run the church on a
day-to-day basis. It is their dedication and leadership that helps keep the
church growing and strengthening in an ever-changing world. Vestry
– Twelve members are elected for staggered three-year terms to represent the
parish. The vestry meets monthly and, with the rector, conducts the church’s
business – concentrating primarily on the financial well-being of the
parish. All confirmed members of the parish are eligible for service on the
vestry. Office
Volunteers – Greet visitors, answer the telephone, run errands and
provide light office help to the rector and staff. Volunteers work weekday
morning and afternoon shifts on a rotating basis. Coffee Cup Cleaners - These are dedicated souls who volunteer to clean up cups and plates from Coffee Hour. It's a simple task of a run through the dishwasher. Volunteers usually come at their convenience Monday or Tuesday. Call the parish office if you are interested in helping. |
