People…The Body of Christ
The work and play of a parish community is not performed only during Sunday worship, but through its people who meet throughout the week for service and for fellowship.

Jo WickerEpiscopal Church Women (ECW)All women of the parish are considered members of the ECW, which meets for service and fellowship. Quarterly meetings with programs and lunch are held during the week, and various fund raisers are spaced throughout the year.

Men’s Group – This is an organization which pitches in when help around the church is necessary. They are active in spring and fall clean-up, during the busy Chopping QChristmas season, and during other busy times of the year. They host an annual barbeque, the funds from which go to Outreach projects.

Daughters of the King – Founded in 1885, this is an Order for women devoted to prayer and service. Potential members study for 12 weeks before taking vows of a Rule of Life which incorporates daily prayer and study. Calvary’s Faith Chapter maintains a prayer list for daily prayers, keeps in contact with the parish’s homebound, sends birthday cards, and offers assistance where it is needed.
St. Anne’s Guild – A women’s guild which meets on a monthly basis for fellowship and study. All women of the church are welcome to join.

Ladies Night Out – Women of all ages meet periodically at restaurants around town for fun, fellowship and support. All parish women are welcome.
Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) – A fellowship group which meets regularly throughout the school year on Sunday evenings for supper and a program.  For youth in 6th-12th grade, the middle school and senior high have their own programs.
